Mrs. Coleman was born in Shreveport, La. and was a life long resident of Port Arthur. She was a member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church and a 1968 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, 11:00am at  the Solid Rock Baptist Church with Samuel Joseph officiating. Burial will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery. A wake will be from 8:00 to 9:00pm tonight at the Moody Harris Funeral Home Chapel.
Survivors are: two daughters, Daphne Coleman and Crystal Patrice Coleman; a son, Fredrick Coleman, all of Port Arthur; brother, Andre Crecy of Houston; aunt, Gracie Slone of Houston; other relatives and friends

Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Ames and Doris Dixon Ames; husband, Russell Joseph Breaux; sister, Rebecca Maddox; and a niece, Amy McKee. She is survived by four sisters, Jacqueline Doyle of Beaumont, Paula Quebedeaux of Bridge City, Cassie Huggins of Austin, Texas and Mary Methvin of Allen, Texas.

56, known to his life-long friends as C.J., passed away May 23, 2006 at his home in Austin , Texas .  Antone was noted as founder of the internationally known nightclub, Antone's, best known as Austin 's Home of the Blues. 
Clifford was born October 27, 1949 at St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur , Texas , middle child of Jamal and Georgette Antone, also of Port Arthur .  His immediate living family includes sisters Susan Antone and Janelle Antone Raad, and niece Georgette Raad, 13, and nephew Jamal Raad, 6.  He leaves behind an uncle and two aunts along with many cousins, and a large extended family of fine friends.  Antone graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur in 1968 and relocated in the late Sixties to Austin , where he attended the University of Texas .  Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, grandmothers Pauline Ashy and Jamilee Antone, grandfather Elias Antone, his loving aunts Onnie Hyslop and Gloria Farha, uncles K.E. Antone, J.E. Antone, and Fred Ashy, and cousins Craig Ashy and Will Farha.

51, of Orange, died Wednesday, January 16, 2002, at his residence.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2002, at the Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange.  Reverend Damon Bickham of the First Baptist Church in Deweyville will officiate.  Masonic Graveside Rites and entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.  Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2002, at the funeral home.
 

Mr. Baker was born in Port Arthur, Texas on August 24, 1950.  He was a Lab Technician for DuPont Sabine River Works in Orange and a Past Master of Masonic Lodge #126 AF & AM in Orange.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Mel Baker.  He is survived by his wife, Deborah Baker, of Orange; mother, Katie Baker, also of Orange; daughter, Tara Ashley Baker of Sulphur; two sons, Richard Alan Baker, Michael Dean Baker, both of Orange; sister and brother-in-law, Becky Baker and George Thomas of Port Neches; sister Susie Baker of Port Arthur; and two nieces.   

Serving as pallbearers will be the Masonic Lodge #126 AF & AM.

39, of Nederland died Tuesday, August 15, 1989 at Jeannie Sealy Hospital in Galveston after an illness. He was a native and lifelong Port Arthur-Nederland area resident.  He was employed as an operator with nine years of service and was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran.  A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Nederland Memorial Funeral Home.  His remains were cremated.
Survivors include his wife, Kelly Powers; two daughters, Leslie Becker and Zoe Becker; a son, Jeffrey Becker; father, John Becker; stepmother, Mary Blanton Becker; a brother, Johnny Becker; and three stepbrothers, Michael, Terry, and Chris Blanton.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Broussard's Mortuary in Nederland with the Rev. Earl D. Mudd officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard's Mortuary in Nederland .  Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at the mortuary.

A native and lifelong resident of Port Arthur , Jerry was a retired service technician for Sears Roebuck for thirty years.  Jerry was also a pilot in his spare time. 
Survivors include his son, Jason Michael Brown; daughters, Tracy Ann Brown and Jennifer Leigh Woosley and husband Keith; three grandchildren, Macy Dee Brown, Holden Pete Pinder, and Hunter Houston Pinder.  His daughter, Jennifer, is expecting in December which would have been Jerry's fourth grandchild, Logan Kristopher Woosley.

60, of Bridge City, Texas passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010 at her home in Harper, Texas.
Rachel was born July 16, 1950 in Port Arthur, Texas to O.W. Burton, Jr. and Annie Mitschke Burton. She was an area resident and lifelong member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, but was part of the Hill Country since she was a child. She was a rancher and second generation owner of Burton Shipyard. An avid horse lover, and competed in many horse shows in her youth. She and her husband were brought together by horses. She wanted to be known for her extraordinary Axis deer. She was a lifetime member of the Exotic Wildlife Association and she loved to travel. Some of her better memories were of her time spent in Mexico.
Survivors include her loving husband of 34 years, Jesse Wheeler of Harper, TX; loving daughter, Anna Wheeler of Bridge City, TX; loving son, Daniel Wheeler of Bridge City, TX; loving step-son, Lee Wheeler and wife, Millette of Lumberton, TX; her loving brother, Carl Burton and wife, Linda of Junction, TX; two loving grandchildren, Jake Wheeler and Cole Wheeler; her special friends , cats Spookie and Beadie and her bird, Buddy.
Funeral services will be at 10:00a.m., Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Francis Schroeder, pastor of Holy Cross Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Fred Burton, Jim Teinert, John Burton, Craig Miller, Ron Moerbe, and Scott Burton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Maldred Chauvin and Hans Schulz.

She was born August 23, 1950, in Shelbyville, Texas, and had been a resident of Beaumont for the past 30 years.  She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, and was a legal secretary and a former employee of Strong, Pipkin, Bissel, & Ledyard, LLP Law Firm in Beaumont.  Jesus became her personal savior at 13th Street Missionary Baptist Church in Port Arthur.  She was a member of Unity Church in Beaumont.
 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2003 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.  Reverend Frank Hodges, pastor of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Nederland, will officiate.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.  Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2003, at the funeral home.  

She was preceded in death by her father, J.W. Byrd, Jr.  She is survived by her mother, Mary E. "DuBell" Byrd of Port Arthur; sister, Gloria Faye Guillote also of Port Arthur; two nephews, Matt Guillote, and Chiris Guillote; and two great-nephews, Dylan Guillote, and Dustin Guillote.

Pamela was definitely a home body but enjoyed embroidery, reading, playing the piano, making jewelry and she loved shoes. She was preceded in death by her parents: brothers Ray and Charles Clary. Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Gary; children, Deanna Faye Olson and husband Chris of OKC and Nelson James Wiser of the home; siblings, Mary Jo Smith and husband Frank of TX, Nelda Ruth Moore and husband Frantz of TX and Richard Clary of MS.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.  A rosary was recited Sunday night at the Pat A. Riley Funeral Home Chapel.  Survivors include his mother, Mae Comeaux; one sister, Barbara Comeaux; and one nephew, John Comeaux.

Mr. DeCluitt was born Jan. 3, 1950, in Port Arthur , the son of John and Barbara Deane (Faulk) DeCluitt Jr.
He was an automotive and diesel mechanic until ill health forced his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Dwight James DeCluitt; and one sister, Connie Lou Kemmitz. Survivors include two brothers, Gerald DeCluitt of Montgomery , AL. and Donald Curtis DeCluitt of Gatesville; two sisters, Deborah Ann Holbern of Eden and Norma Ruth Kemmitz of Gatesville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife, Ronna Dickman of Orange; daughter, Shonna Hunt and her husband, Gene of Atascocita, TX; son, Nathan Edward Dickman of Orange; four grandchildren, Phillip Nathaniel Hunt, Alaina Broussard, Avery Hunt, and Chris Hunt; brothers, Richard Dickman of Hemphill, TX and Neil Dickman of Bridge City; and sister, Lynida Reaux of Bridge City.

57, of Port Arthur passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2008, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont after a nine month battle with lung cancer.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Grammier - Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur. A gathering of friends and family will take place from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Cremation will take place at Wilbert Crematorium in Beaumont. Jeanne was born on July 31, 1950, in Port Arthur, Texas to Lydia Marie Hogg Duplantis and Guy Ray Duplantis. She had lived in Port Arthur all of her life and was employed at Transit Mix as a yard manager. Jeanne loved to play golf, loved to remodel and was generally considered a “handy-woman” tinkering with things that needed to be fixed around the house. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly.
Survivors include her son, Lawrence Myers and wife Lillian of Port Neches; brothers and sisters, James Duplantis of Houston, Jerry Duplantis, Tim Duplantis and Betty Achord all of Port Arthur, Sharon Manuel of China, Jack Duplantis of Port Arthur and Jan Chance of Groves; grandson, Lucas Myers of Port Neches. 54, of Houston, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 1004, at her home in Houston.
She was born on December 17, 1949 in Port Arthur Texas to Johnny Elizondo and Eppie Moreno Elizondo. Cynthia lived in Port Arthur for most of her life, before moving to Houston 8 years ago. She was a 1968 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and a graduate from Lamar University in Beaumont. Cynthia also graduated from University of Texas at Arlington, and worked as a Critical Care registered nurse at Clear Lake Regional Hospital in Clear Lake, Texas, and Christus Saint Mary's Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas.
A Rosary for Cynthia will be recited at 6:00pm, Saturday, December 18th, 2004 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church by Rev. T.R. Blanco. Private burial will be at Memory Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Clayton  Thompson Funeral Directors.
She is survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Elizondo of Port Arthur, her brothers and sisters: Tom Elizondo and Irene Cooper of Port Arthur, Gloria Elizondo of Lafayette, LA., Mary Helen Elizondo of Port Arthur, Steve Elizondo of Raleigh, NC., Cathy Hammond of Groves and a host of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, or Southeast Texas Humane Society. Cynthia always had a great love for animals.
