TJ Class of '68     NEWSLETTER                                                           06/20/08

Fellow classmates,
I am afraid I have good news and bad news.  The good news is that we are having a wonderful response for the reunion AND your favorite....Mail Call.   The bad news is that I am anticipating that you will be cross-eyed by the time you read all the following messages:

MAIL CALL (from classmates)

Rachel Burton Wheeler in Bridge City
Kay will be getting my check shortly.   After seeing you and Murphy at the wedding in Bastrop, I had the "ah-hah"  moment of how nice it was to see my old classmates and that I really wanted to make the class reunion this time.  Yes, I miss the Hussars a lot and will be so glad to see them again.  See all of you soon.

(I was in the MAROON & GOLD BAND but I sure hope we have LOTS of former RED HUSSARS at the reunion.  Make sure ya'll gather for a PHOTO OP.)

Carl Johansen in Albuquerque, NM
Got your card the other day...........here's my updated situation. I retired back in March, sold the house in Houston and relocated to Albuquerque, NM. We haven't bought a house here yet, but hope to soon.

(Thanks for updating your information for my class spreadsheet.  I don't want to LOSE you AGAIN!)

Rebecca Harrison in Beaumont
I mailed Kay my reunion ticket $ yesterday.  It took me a week to wind down and take care of business once school was out.  See you in August.

(Thanks for the money!  We can put it to good use.  Looking forward to seeing you.)

Linda Blanton Murski on the Island of Guanaja
I am planning to make the reunion and my daughter, Stephanie, is planning on attending also.  I will be sending in my check as soon as I can make my travel arrangements. I look forward to seeing all of our old friends once again. Start working on Gayle Hatfield.  I have asked her to go but I don't know if she will or not.  I would love to visit with her again too.

(I think you might be travelling the farthest to the reunion.  Of course, with my limited knowledge of world geography, your island may be located in LAKE SABINE!)

Sherry Clingan Armentor in Groves
I plan to go to the reunion but - with my husband's health issues - there are times we don't know if we are coming or if we are going or if we have already been!  May have to wait and pay at the door.

(Hope it works out and your husband's  health stays good.  We'll be praying for him.)

Dennis O'Quinn in Anahuac
So sorry for not staying in touch, no excuse, and YES, I am planning on attending the class reunion.  I have been staying real busy at work.  I had planned on retiring in February but they asked me to stay until October to help plan the ethylene turnaround for 2010.  So, I moved my "outta here date" until Oct., 2008.  I will probably move it again.  I need to get my left knee replaced before I go.  Anyway, I am staying really busy just like everyone else.

(Can't wait to see your cheery smile again.  It has been too long, old friend.)

Robert McClintock in Port Arthur
I commend the efforts made by you and everyone involved
in setting up the reunions.  I have sent my money in and will be there!
Question: Do you have an uncomplicated way to find our classmates' email addresses ?

(Yes, go to the website and click on the heading CLASSMATE LISTING and all the classmates are listed with their e-mail addresses!)

Billy Jordan in Decatur, AL
I just got back from a week up in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area which is on the border of Minnesota and Canada.  Six of us were on the trip.  We were ferried in by motor boat to the Canada line and crossed over and were ferried for another hour to a drop off point.  We canoed for six miles to an island where we camped.  The weather was not good with cool temperatures in the 40's and 50's, rain and wind.  We had one good day of fishing and I caught several small mount bass and a northern pike.  As we were canoeing back out the wind got high and the canoe I was in flipped on a wave.  The water temperature was 50 degrees and we were about 400 yards from shore.  The other guy and I had to hold on to the back of one of the other canoes while they paddled to shore.  It took 45 minutes and there was concern about hypothermia.  I got my clothes off quickly and luckily I had wrapped my clothes in my backpack in a plastic garbage bag so I had dry clothes to put on.  What took us about three hours to paddle in took six hours out.  I was glad to get my feet on solid ground.  Most of our stuff floated and was picked up.  We only lost a sleeping bag and paddle.  My partner also lost his wallet.  Despite the near death experience I plan to go back next year.  See you at the reunion!!

(Stay dry so that you can make it to the reunion.  Don't take a canoe or piroe to get to PA....but that is a thought!  Sure would be cheaper than gasoline!)

Glenda Patin in Houston
I mailed my check for the reunion.  Looking forward to it!

(Am I correct in thinking this might be your FIRST reunion?)

Dianna Kube Stewart in Liberty
I am looking forward to my new job.  I'll be able to work in the same school district as my husband.  We were able to do that about 20 years ago, and we did enjoy it!

I haven't been too lucky over the years in being able to attend reunions.  We have summer visits coordinated with my daughter and son-in-law in Baton Rouge and their time off, and have plans for weekends this summer with my newly married son and his wife in Glen Rose.  Our summers are always busy as we make up for weekends spent on school activities during the rest of the year.

I do so enjoy all the work that you and Mike do on the newsletter and website.  It does make me feel connected in spite of the fact that I haven't been able to make it in person.  Thanks for all your work!
(Good luck with your new position.  Maybe you can plan your vacation around the 45th reunion in 2013 God-willing.)

Barbara Bowers in Pagosa Springs, CO
I heard I was lost which was really a surprise to me! But, here I am in Colorado for the last 10 years and found you all on the link from the PA News!

You probably won't believe this but it snowed last weekend! It wasn't enough to set all kinds of records with 150% of average white stuff this last winter but it's still coming down and it's June already! mid-June! I'm waiting to put a garden in & it won't quit snowing! enough already!
anyway... besides that all is really great here at 9000 ft high in the super green foothills of the rockies' fourteeners. The rivers are high & fast with all the (snow) runoff and the flowers are popping out more each day! The business is so good we are barely keeping up. Need a job? I am part of a group of friends with a company called Enchanted Valley Farm in Pagosa Springs making dips and spreads and growing the organic ingredients for the goodies we make. It's an incredible miracle to be able to make a living in this resort vacation oriented town of 6000 inhabitants but to make a mint here is unheard of and we are doing it , finally! It has not been an easy task to begin that ball rolling but once it did, we are all just hanging on for dear life and lovin every minute of it! So this is an invitation to visit. There are hot springs, rivers, camping hiking mountain climbing biking... just about everything you can imagine! Check us out on the web www.enchantedvalleyfarm.homestead.com and come down when you can. you'll love it! (PS  We have stars here! lots & lots & lots of 'em!)  Care2 make the world greener!

(So wonderful to finally get you off of the MISSING list!)

John Wilson in Houston
You know that I keep up with all the goings on of you and our classmates through your efforts. I have several entries for the “I remember when…” area that just haven’t made it to you….yet (Momma always said that the road to hell is paved with good intentions). I will write you something, someday.

I did make it to Austin from Houston on my bicycle at this year's MS RIDE. The wind this year was, in a word, BRUTAL! It somewhat dampened the effect of the beautiful flowers along the way but not completely. The weather was cool enough and the days were clear, just very, very, windy.

I will not be attending this year’s gala. There are reasons and a few excuses but the bottom line is I won’t be in the Golden Triangle for our 40th (has it really been that long?).
(We'll miss you at the reunion.)

Hal Ross in NederlandI guess it's because I'm getting old and slow that I haven't sent in my money for the reunion.   I have full intention of attending the reunion.  I've never missed one and I don't intend to miss this year either.  So, I'll get some $$ to Kay today.   I read your newsletters and the class website and it's good to hear about our classmates.  I have full intention of attending the reunion.

Here's some news.  My daughter, Lindsey moved last summer to Dripping Springs with her family.  My Son-in-Law, Charlie Lefort, is the sales manager for Cowboy Harley Davidson in Austin.  On July 8, Lindsey is due with her third child (a boy) and my third grandchild.  Her daughter Kate will be 2 on July 18, and my grandson, Ross Lefort, is 7 and just finished 1st grade.  Needless to say I am proud of these kids and I spend my spare time burning lots of that "cheap??" gasoline driving to Austin and back.  I'm working hard to be "Super PawPaw"...and DAD.

A couple of weeks ago I had the great opportunity to spend some time with Robert McClintock, Pat Lange, and Phil Hall at a Memorial Day Weekend outing near Liberty Hill hosted by Robert at his outback deer camp.  Words would be wasted on that experience, so I'll just say I left feeling good.

And just in case you keep up with airport news, Continental Airlines did announce that it was cancelling service from Houston to 12 airports.  We were not one of them, but with the airline business in the shape it's in, we're never safe from the loss of air service.  Estimates are that over 100 airports will lose some are all of their flights by this fall.

Lastly, do you know anyone who wants to sell  a 1966 and/or 1968 annual?
(Hal is the manager of the Southeast Texas Regional Airport .....formerly known as Jefferson County Airport.)

Ronnie Moerbe in Bridge City
I would like to attend the reunion, and will try to make plans as we get closer to that weekend. By the way, I have wanted to tell you for a long time that I thoroughly enjoy reading the news letter and the website. You and Mike are providing some wonderful memories for a lot of people. What a great thing to do.

(Thanks for the kind words!  Mike and I couldn't do it without the input by our friends and classmates!)

Alan "A.J." Hebert in Brookeland, TXI am going to try to be at the reunion.
(That is good enough for me!)

Charlie Fontenot in League City
Yeah, we are hoping to come to the reunion.  We are waiting for more info from our San Diego daughter on whether or not she will be in town.

(Well, if she is in town, bring her along! Reunions only come along every 5 years!  We'd love to have her.)

Merwyn Wright in Beaumont
I now live in Beaumont.  Irene and I are thinking about coming to the reunion.

(Don't just think!  Come on.....you'll have a great time.  Sometimes you just have to jump in.  Hope to see both of you there.)

Stephen Simonton in Orange
I have been having lots of health problems and been off of work since January.  Thank heavens for good company benefits.  When I read the website and newsletters I feel like the past is still alive.  The music, after-game dances, football games....those were such wonderful times that most of us might have taken for granted.  I am hoping to be at the reunion.  Thanks to you and Mike for keeping the past alive for all of us!

(No, thank you for sharing your thoughts.  Actually, I think your thoughts and sentiments are what we all feel !  Get well and I hope to see you in August to help make more TJ memories.....just
40 YEARS LATER!)

Stephen Wentworth in Humble
I will be unable to attend this time around. We will be going to Florida during this stretch. It just worked out that way. Wife changed jobs. She’s the laboratory supervisor and acting lab director, at times, at Kingwood Medical Center. She had to plan vacation around the regular director. By the way, I have been unable to get into the site for the past couple of months. It will load about half way and stop. Any ideas? I really miss the site. If you could, would you e-mail me the current roster of attendees? I’m just nosey! If anything changes there could be a chance I can attend.

(I sent his request for help about the site not loading to Mike.  It might be that his computer can't handle the TREMENDOUS amount of space that the website uses.  Hmmm.  If any of you computer techs out there think you can help....contact Steve at swentworth@eprod.com

Chrissy Dupuis Mullens in Port Arthur
Thanks for rattlin my chain....I hope to be at the reunion.

(It was just a little rattle!)

Ruelle Parker in Groves
We are planning to come to the reunion. I will try to remember to send you the money.

(Great!  Yes, I hope you do remember to send the money.  See you and Lana soon.)

Linda Odom Thibodeaux in Deer Park
Sorry, I am going to miss the reunion.  It sounds like a lot of fun. My husband, Richard,  has a golf tournament every year at this time in Kerrville. Have a great time.

(Tell him it is too hot in Kerrville in August and that it would be cooler in AC at the reunion.)

James Miller in Bridge City
We will try to make the reunion. I will respond today.

(James and his lovely wife ALMOST outshined their daughter at her wedding recently.   Beautiful bride!)

Joel Levy in Houston
Every two weeks I read the I Remember When and it jogs my memory to write stuff to send, but  I edit and edit and don't seem to get it out.  I will send some for the next letter. But for one, Cherlyn Hebert wrote something a while ago about her uncle or somebody in her family running some gaming in the back of  the Farm Royale.  I wanted to know if it was a Bourree (sp?) game? Does anyone play Bourree anymore, or is it a lost art?  And does anybody remember that, at noon in the 1950s and probably earlier, the old KPAC radio station used to have someone who read the news in French?  I really have France and French on my mind, because I found out that I, of all people(!), have French ancestry, a great-grandfather who came to the US in the mid 1800s from Alsace.  My family and I, by the way, were in France last June, where I had a conference, and we visited Strasbourg in Alsace (as well as Paris and Marseille), where I believe he came from.  Genealogy is an addiction, albeit a pleasant one, and I am hooked.

We did have a family milestone, now just a month to this day ago.  Our oldest, Daniel, graduated from Hendrix College with a BA in Computer Science.  He is now back with us and looking for a software development job in Houston.  Anybody need a sharp code writer?  He's available for immediate employment.

I know now that despite all the mention of people's grandkids, I am not the alum with the youngest kid (or maybe I am because I have a daughter going  into her senior year at Bellaire High School), but  Bill Horton has a daughter who is going to be a junior,  I think , at Hendrix, our son's alma mater -small world!  They actually know each other, as she gave him a ride half way home once.

All the best and I will write more I Remember When later
.
(I would bet the farm that Charles Cramer has the YOUNGEST child....I might be wrong, but I doubt it!)

Gilsey Viator in Austin
I am supposed to go to a wedding so I might not make the reunion. If I don't make the reunion, I will still come to P.A. for a visit and try to get together.....

(I don't think you have EVER missed one of our reunions!  Sad...but we understand.)

Randy Baker in St. Croix, Virgin Islands
I've been here over a year working at Hovensa Oil refinery as Instrument & Electrical Consultant for the Owner's new Capital Projects.

I come home to Bridge City every now and then and hope to make the reunion, but if things don't work out for that, then say hi to all our friends. Maybe I'll get to come home and work at the Motiva or BASF projects.
(No fair being on VACATION all the time.)

David Williams in Wimberly, TX
Ok!  All right already.  I have been planning to come and so I have finally put the check in the mail.

I am busier now that I have ever been.  I continue my career at Texas State University where I have been running law enforcement and education training involving school safety for more than 20 years.  With one daughter entering her second year in college and another still in high school I will not be retiring anytime soon.

Oldest daughter, Kendra, finished her first year at Trinity University in San Antonio where she was a University scholar.

Youngest daughter, Morgan, will be a junior at Wimberley High School where she is doing very well.  This summer she is attending church camp (Episcopal) and counseling at Camp Capers in Waring, TX.

My wife, Lee, is enjoying her summer off and preparing for another year in the fall teaching ESL to new immigrants.

I just returned from the Texas Democratic Convention where I served as a delegate for Obama from Hays County.  I am a committed Obama guy and will be glad to talk to anyone, any place about why he should be president.

My service on the Wimberley ISD school board is in its 3rd year and looks like it will be real exciting in the Spring at the Texas legislature.  Wimberley is considered a property wealthy district and we must send a lot of money back to the state.  (Robin Hood plan) Our problem isn't so much that we have a lot of money, but rather we don't have a lot of students.  Wimberley is still a large retirement community as well as an artsy place.  The real problem is that Texas talks a good game when it comes to education, but really doesn't fund it very well.  I'll leave this now and if anyone wishes to discuss it we can talk over a drink Friday at the reunion.

P.S. My wife and I have a deal - she does not have to go to my reunions and I don't have to go to hers.
(Sounds like a plan to me!)

Leah Conner Shields in Fredricksburg, TX
I'm looking forward to the reunion - the first I've been able to attend! My life ventured in several new paths after TJ - Master's Degree in Special Education, teaching, then managing my husband's busy medical practice. Even though we retired to Fredericksburg, I took a job with Chocolates El Rey 8 1/2 years ago - was a temporary, one week thing, that's ended up with me being the National/European Sales Manager, as well as Sales Manager for a new chocolate shop in Boston - as well as directing handbell choir at church.

That being said - I've reserved the reunion week end so we can attend. The only family I have left in Pt. A is my aunt, so we do get back about twice a year. Too many changes to really comprehend. Can't imagine classmates have changed, though.
(I just LOVE having FIRST-TIMERS at the reunions!  Okay, classmates...make her feel welcome so she won't be a LAST-TIMER.)

Shari Louvier Parker in New Boston, TX
Thanks you so much for putting the flier and webpage on the sight. I am getting ready to open on the 19th and I am so excited. Since I am by myself now, I am running ragged. Pray for strength and guidance for me.

(Good luck on your "grand opening" for the year.)

Shirley Moreau Betar in Nederland
Hi to all.  I wanted to tell you that I'm going to be a great-grandma in late December or so.  This wll be my second one.  I'm hoping for a girl. My step-daughter, Patricia died last September.  This would have been her second grandchild.  Have a blessed day.

(Congratulations on your upcoming blessed event.  Aren't babies the greatest?)

Sara Little Chilton in Beaumont
Looking forward to the reunion!  I'll definitely be there on Friday night.  You know how every teacher has their absolute favorite student of all time?  Well, my absolute favorite is getting married at 7 p.m. on Aug.2.  Bummer!  I work with his mother, and I wouldn't miss his wedding for the world.  But I've made plans to attend the reunion late, after making an appearance at church.  Susan Byrd's husband, John LeBlanc and I are ganging up on her.  We may kidnap her to get her to the reunion!

(You tie her up and I'll help drag her there.  Susan was my DRIVER's ED partner.)

MAIL CALL (from Faculty members)

Lionel Rowland (history)
Right now, my wife and I  plan to be at the reunion.  Looking forward to seeing the old gang.  Would love to get a picture of the old "Rowland's Mafia" members that are there.

Martha Taylor (mathematics)
I would be happy to join your class on Friday night, August 1 as part of your retired teachers group.

Jayne Smith (english)
I do plan to come to the reunion on the first night.

Doris Crisp (english)
Thank you very much for inviting me to your class of '68 August reunion, but I will be unable to attend.  You have obviously worked hard to make the festivities a big success, which I'm confident they will be.  My best wishes to you and all your classmates.

Coach Mack Estes (PE) & Hilda Brazzel Estes (librarian)
Mack and I were delighted to receive your invitation to the reunion.  We look forward to attending and seeing everyone.  I am certain that we can attend the Holiday Inn Friday night session but doubtful that we will be there for the Saturday evening Social/Dance.  Thank you  for remembering us.

Al Hebert (Biology)
a note from his wife, Carolyn Bigler Hebert

(I thought you all would enjoy her take on Hawaii since our REUNION is a LUAU theme this year.)

Luaus are ALWAYS spectacular! I hosted one for Alfred in Sept. 2006 for his birthday. I ordered many things directly from Hawaii and cooked all the food myself. The LauLau was the American version though called Haole LauLau. But now I have to substitute noodles for the rice due to allergies. The tiki torches are still around our pool too.

Alfred received his invitation today and I scanned it and saved it to my extra hard drive. Luau's are right up our alley, especially mine since I lived and worked in Hawaii. I worked as a nurse at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Waikiki only 1 1/2 blocks from the beach. I studied hula twice a week and was a member of a hula troup.
http://moonlightflower.org/HulaMe.html  I do still hula. I just can't perform an entire show which is 30  to 45 minutes worth.

If you look in my closet, most of my clothes are alohawear. Even Alfred wears aloha shirts now. I order from several places in Hawaii. And of course I have dozens of leis, some silk and some kukui nuts. Not all kukui nut leis are solid kukui nuts and solid in color. We have what is called tiger kukui nut leis which are black and white striped and with shells in between the nuts. And also some kukui nut leis that the nuts are black and the shells inbetween are pink and white. I also have a hand crocheted triple strand of Pakaki flowers purchased from the lady who made the lei. We watched her finish making the lei at Ben Franklin craft store in Honolulu on our vacation there last year. I bought her book which she autographed. Alfred had his own private tour guide and got to meet my neighbor, a pure Hawaiian. There are not many of those left.
I sent the copy of the invitation to a friend of mine in Washington state, class of  '61 I think....she went to y'alls website and wrote back that it's a nice website. She does websites, too.

The invitation is really nice. Thanks bunches.....or actually mahalo.
Carolyn Bigler Hebert....my Hawaiian name is KaniL'ea, pronounced Connie Lay Ah
Alfred Hebert

Laverne McMillan (mathematics)
I'll be there Friday night.

Nancy McClain (PE)
(a note about future travel plans)
Some of us are going to cruise in the mediteranean sea.  We will fly to Venice, Italy and get off in Croatia, Istanbul Turkey and a couple more places.  We sail around the Greek Isles but don't get off.  This is the first we have tried since many have developed  medical problems so we shall see how it goes.  I will be the only one who can go through regular check in at the air port.  Hope I don't get lost!

REUNION NEWS

The invitations have gone out to the 42 faculty members and I hope we will get more response.  I know of some that have not officially gotten back to me but MIGHT be still planning on dropping in on their FAVORITE students!

A GREAT BIG THANKS from the committee to all that have been ABLE to send their money in for the reunion tickets.  We have been using the much needed revenue to spice up the decorations for the LUAU.  We will have different decorations at the Friday night Social than for the Saturday night event so try to come both nights.   It takes a lot of planning AND time but it is always worth the effort to make it SPECIAL for SPECIAL CLASSMATES.  We KNOW that some of you cannot commit until a later date.  We do understand.  The most important thing will be just to get you to ATTEND.  We'll do the rest.  Please contact me if you or if you know of someone that can't come because money is tight.

We will have areas to take casual small group photos and cute "ISLAND" photos.  We are also hoping to set up an area to show the DVD loop honoring the deceased members of our class.  Mike Lawson has diligently worked on this project.  Anyone wanting to purchase a DVD may contact Mike.  Information about this MEMORIAL DVD can be found on the front page of the website.

REMINDER:  Please don't eat a HEAVY meal right before the Saturday night shindig!  We had way too much food left over last reunion.  We are buying it for you.....not the committee to have to take home.

Mike and I are keeping the REUNION LIST current on the website.  You may check it anyday to see who has been added.  The names listed include those classmates that have already sent in their money AND also those who have told me that they are planning to come.  It seems to be a wonderfully DIVERSE group......that makes for a FUN GATHERING!!!!   I can just hear the reminiscing going on right now!  Hey, save a dance for me!

Thank you for your prayers.  It must have been the prayers that are causing Kenneth to heal so quickly.  I am amazed at how fast his burns are healing.  His hand hurts but I'm having to put the medicated strips on less and less areas every day.

Punctured a lung on two different occasions).  Can't fly and will not be able to join us as planned for the reunion.

 Lionel Rowland

We met with our doctor at MD Anderson Wednesday for the results of our third Petscan.  The first Petscan had shown that the cancer had spread to the lungs, liver, and spine.  The second Petscan, however, showed that the areas on the lungs, liver, and spine were gone and the tumors in the esophagus were shrinking.  We were eagerly awaiting the results of the third Petscan.  The first thing our doctor said when she came in was, "You must have powerful prayers.  This is a great report."  The areas on the lungs, liver, and spine are still clear and the tumors in the esophagus are continuing to shrink.  The blood work showed everything in the normal range including the platelets.  We will do another round of chemo as a precaution and then possibly do radiation on the tumors in the esophagus.  We are rejoicing and praising God for this good report.  We are so thankful for all your prayers and support.

My grandson's platelet count continues to be normal!

Chrissy Dupuis Mullens

Well......my husband is doing GREAT,  the cancer thing is still on watch...after just the 6 chemo's his cancer no longer warrants treatment. It was a remarkable response. Also, the chemo has gave him a little more mobility and recently after 4 years of not driving he went down to the DPS and passed his driving test and he is a free man again. He runs the roads while I work. He is a remarkable person in that he has been able to cope with all of this and still keeps going. We have not sent in our advance money for the reunion as he goes back to MD in July for another visit and we do not know what they may decide to do. So, we are just playing it by ear. Hope to be there to thank everyone for the prayers as I know they have worked.

Sue is doing well. She went in mid-April to MD Anderson for her check-up and got a good report. They have changed her check-ups from 3 to 4 months.

I had hoped to come to the reunion but I am having surgery for carpal tunnel on both hands.

(concerning her husband, Jim)
I'm sitting in the hospital with Jim.  He's got pneumonia.  Once he fully recovers from this he's having another stent.  This one is behind
his right knee - the main vessel is partially blocked, so his leg hurts.
UPDATE:
He's doing significantly better.  Praise the Lord!  They started him on IV Cleocin, Zithromax and Zosyn - that ought to kill any bug!  The
Levoquin was certainly not working!.  The CT showed atypical pneumonia -there's a hemolytic variety that the think he has...thus the low Hbg.
Doc said - maybe home tomorrow PM. :-)

(Jim just recently had a stent put in his heart.)

Whew!  My typing fingers are bloated (okay....maybe not from all this typing and instead from the local fresh SEAFOOD I have been consuming!)  I hope that the response so far for the reunion has made a few more of you doubting your initial decision to forego this big event.  Never too late.  The more the merrier.  Check out the list on the website and call some "old" friends and carpool.  Hey, just like old times when we didn't each have our own VEHICLES to jump in and make the DRAG down Gulfway!  Whoo Whoo.  Good times.
